Jackie Johnston BSc. (Hons) - Clinical Lead

Graduated from Queen Margaret University in 1995 being awarded a BSc in Podiatry with 1st class honours. Declining the opportunity to study for a PhD, she chose to specialise in private practice and opened Blackhall Podiatry and Chiropody.

Coming from a background of research in immunology (Western General Hospital and Dick Veterinary School), her experience and qualifications in immunology, medical microbiology and infection control are usefully applied in her daily practice.

Areas of special interest include Dermatology, Acupuncture and Laser Therapy.

Mrs Carol Black BSc. (Hons)

Graduated from Queen Margaret University in 2001 being awarded a BSc with Honours in Podiatry. Prior to retraining, Mrs Black worked in a research laboratory where she developed expertise in infection control procedures.

Area of special interest Biomechanics and Gait analysis.

Miss Helen Watson BSc. (Hons)

Graduated from Queen Margaret University in 2009, being awarded a BSc with Honours in Podiatry. Prior to retraining, Miss Watson worked in sales and marketing for the locksmith industry before embarking on a new career in podiatry. After qualification, has gained a broad range of experience treating clients both in the NHS and private sector. Helen enjoys all aspects of podiatry and building a good rapport with her patients.

Outside work, she is a keen swimmer and helps run a local swimming club.
